What Is the Structure of Intellect (SOI) Program?
The Structure of Intellect approach is based on the work of psychologist J.P. Guilford and was developed into a practical learning program by Dr. Mary Meeker. Instead of simply re-teaching school content, SOI trains the underlying abilities a child uses to learn, such as how they pay attention, remember information, recognise patterns and solve problems.
Each child begins with a cognitive assessment that maps their learning strengths and the specific skills that need development. Training is then matched to those results, so your child spends time on the abilities that will make the biggest difference to their learning, not on generic worksheets.
